Culina Terms of Service
Culina ("Culina," "we," "us") is operated by Barak Dahan, an individual based in Israel, trading as "Culina by Barak Dahan." Culina provides meal-planning, recipe, grocery, and culinary workflow tools intended for home cooks and culinary professionals. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Culina website, applications, AI features, and any related content or services (collectively, the "Service").
Culina does not provide medical, nutrition, or dietary counseling. All information is general in nature and must not be used to diagnose, treat, or prevent any health condition. Always consult your physician, registered dietitian, or other qualified professional before making changes to your diet or health routine.
You are solely responsible for verifying all ingredients, allergens, dietary suitability, and potential intolerances for yourself and anyone you cook for. This includes, without limitation, peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, sesame, shellfish, fin fish, gluten, and any other allergen or sensitivity that could cause harm.
Culina may surface zero-sugar, heart-smart, low-sodium, gluten-free, or celiac-friendly recipes. These labels are informational and not guaranteed. Manufacturing processes, ingredient sourcing, and kitchen practices vary. Always cross-check nutrition labels, supplier statements, and medical guidance before serving food to individuals with diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, celiac disease, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, or any other condition requiring dietary precision.
Recipes, meal plans, grocery suggestions, and explanations may be generated by AI models or contributed by users. Such content can be incomplete, imprecise, offensive, or unsafe if followed without independent verification. Culina does not vet every submission and does not guarantee accuracy, timing, substitutions, or outcomes. Use common sense and professional judgment before acting on any content.
You must follow safe food-handling procedures—including temperature control, sanitation, storage, and cross-contamination prevention. Verify cook times and temperatures with authoritative sources before preparing meals, especially when serving vulnerable populations such as children, pregnant individuals, older adults, or immunocompromised persons.
Paid tiers unlock additional features. All purchases are sold by Paddle, acting as our reseller and the merchant of record for all transactions. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, applicable VAT and other taxes, and processes refunds, each in accordance with Paddle's own terms and policies. See our Refund Policy page for which payments are eligible for a refund and how to request one. By starting a subscription you authorize Paddle to charge you on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices, plan inclusions, and promotional offers may change; we will give notice of any price increase or material change that affects an ongoing billing cycle. You are responsible for any third-party fees not collected by Paddle (e.g., your bank's currency conversion costs).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Culina, its owners, employees, contractors, and partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, personal injury, or property damage arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, recipes, or recommendations—even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or create risks or possible legal exposure for Culina or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time. Certain provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., limitations of liability) will remain in effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version number and "Last updated" date posted on our legal pages control. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel.
