Culina ("Culina," "we," "us") is operated by Barak Dahan, an individual based in Israel, trading as "Culina by Barak Dahan."

- Account & subscription data: plan selection, billing status, Paddle customer identifiers, and support correspondence.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, AI prompts, search queries, and actions taken inside the app.
- Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, time zone, and basic device identifiers.
How We Use Data
- Provide, personalize, and troubleshoot the Service.
- Manage subscriptions, payments, and entitlements.

Third-Party Processors
We share limited data with the vendors who help us operate Culina:
Each processor only receives the data required to perform its task.
- Paddle: processes payments and billing as our reseller and merchant of record, including VAT/tax handling and refunds.
- OpenAI: processes the prompts and content you submit to AI features to generate recipes, meal plans, and related suggestions.
- Resend: sends account and transactional emails on our behalf.
- Google: if you choose to sign in with Google, receives the request needed to authenticate you and returns your name, email, and profile photo.
- Cloudflare: stores uploaded images, such as recipe photos, cookbook covers, and avatars, and forwards emails sent to support@culina.kitchen.
- Supabase: hosts our database, where account and content data is stored at rest.
- Vercel: hosts and runs the application and processes requests in transit.
Data Retention
We retain account data while your subscription or free account remains active. When you request deletion, we queue the account for removal and permanently delete or anonymize associated data after a 30-day waiting period (unless a longer period is required by law or to resolve disputes).
Your Rights
Subject to local law, you may request to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can also object to processing or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.
Security
We employ industry-standard safeguards such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted administrative access, and periodic security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, so please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
